Worship


Acolytes: Youth who assist the priests in worship on Sundays at the 10:30 service. Contact Cam Pierce at 352-375-1729 or Mary Hitchner at the parish office, 372-4721.	Music & Choirs: Chancel, Folk, Hand bell, Liturgical, Junior and Pre-Junior choirs are offered.
ALTAR GUILD: St. Mary’s Altar Guild is open to men and women who would like to assist in the preparation of the church for worship and help in the care of worship linens, vessels, crosses, etc. Contact Vandy Thorpe.	Sermons: Copies of a few sermons may be found on-line and many more are available on audio tape in the parish library.
CALICIFERS: Members of the parish, licensed by the Bishop, who assist at the Eucharist by leading prayers and administering the chalice. Contact Art Maltby, 372-4721.	USHERS: Men and Women who assist at Sunday worship by handing out bulletins, assisting with seating, collecting the offering, etc. Contact Bob Eller or Mary Hitchner at the parish office, 372-4721.
CENTERING PRAYER GROUP: Centering prayer is a spiritual discipline, recently popularized by Fr. Thomas Keating, that emphasizes regular times for silent, contemplative prayer.	WEDDING GUILD: A ministry to assist with weddings at Holy Trinity. Guild members work with brides and grooms, and the clergy, in the preparation and conduct of weddings. Contact Ellyn Radson.
GREETERS: Members who welcome persons to church on Sunday and assist them with information and questions. Contact Bobbie Eller & Judy McCullough.	Worship Commission: Assists the clergy in meeting the liturgical needs of the parish, and with reflecting to the clergy the feelings and concerns of the laity. The Worship Commission also plans observances of special seasons and festivals of the church year.
