Saturday, November 12, Meet at Holy Trinity at 8:30 AM
As Stewardship is on our minds this month, we all should think of the many
ways we can thank our God for his gifts. One of these gifts is the his "Gift of
Water." One of the greatest laws God has given us is to love our neighbors as
ourselves. What better way to include out thanks to God than to transform this Christian
creed into an actual deed?

The Earth Stewardship Commission has as is ministry to involved ourselves in
activities which deepen our relation with all of God’s creations, and in turn,
with the God of creation. On Saturday. November 12th we will meet at Holly
Trinity at 8:30 and caravan to Hawthorne Road (Route 20) just past Earl Powers
Park. WE will park alongside the road with all the regular fishermen. We will
met at the Prairie Creek overpass off HWY 20 located by the Kate’s Fish Camp
at 9. . Look for State Dump Truck. Transportation will be provided for
those who need it and others may join the caravan. Earth Stewardship Commission
will provide water, bug repellant, if needed, gloves and boots (six 9 and
above). Best of all will be a delicious Cuban meal prepared by Berta Carter and
Martha Banks. After 12 noon this meal will be waiting for us at beautiful
Hickory Ranch on Route 364. If you get lost, call Harold on his cell phone –
353-262-7243. Please wear long pants, long sleeve shirts, and boots or old
sneakers. The Paynes Prairie Rangers, our appreciative partners will supervise
this project on Sweetwater Creek as found in the boundaries of the Preserve. As
always the Park Ranger are very helpful when it comes to all health and safety
factors. Please signup with Mary Hitchner at 352- 372-4721 or at the Earth
