Mission
The Cuba Committee at Holy
Trinity (HTCC and the Diocese of Florida (DCC) and
the National Church (CCCC Christ in Cuba Coordinating Council) exist for
the
purpose of increasing mutual engagement of the Episcopal Church in the
United
States (ECUSA) and the Episcopal Church in Cuba (ECC). This engagement has
as its highest purpose the seeking of a closer relationship with
God and through that process a closer relationship to both the Cuba and
American Episcopal churches at the parish, diocesan, and national levels.
More specifically we are engaged for the purpose of:
A. Spreading God's love and peace among our Cuban friends
B. Giving and receiving immeasurable joy from our relationship
C. Receiving any giving of gifts of caring and love with all its benefits
to
both giver and receiver
D. Traveling to a beautiful paradise-like island and being hosted by our
Cuban friends where we both can exist/participate on the cutting edge of Godıs power
work.
E. Having the privilege and joy of hosting Cubans in our home or parish.
